Hoof pack for horses

The Hoof Pack consists of  biotin+, 1 litre linseed oil, Duo Protection Hoof Grease and a hoof scraper.

Skin, coat and hoofs consist mostly of keratin. Biotin plays an essential role in the formation of keratin. Biotin is also known as vitamin B8, a water-soluble vitamin that is not naturally produced by the body. Therefore, it must be added to the feed. Because concentrated feed is often deficient in biotin, it is recommended to add biotin in the form of a supplement.

Dosage
Pony: 2 measuring spoons per day
Horse: 4 measuring spoons per day

PharmaHorse Biotin also contains MSM to support healthy hooves and stratum growth. Biotin also contains linseed oil to ensure that the biotin does not spurt out when added to the feed. You can add extra linseed oil to ensure that the biotin properly bonds with the feed. PharmaHorse Linseed oil is rich in Omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids and vitamin A, D and E.

Dosage of linseed oil
Up to 300 kg               30 ml
300 to 600 kg              60 ml
600 kg+                       90 ml

In addition to nourishing the hooves internally with the right nutrients, it is also important to care for the hooves externally. You can do this with Duo Protection Hoof. As opposed to other types of hoof greases and oils, Duo Protection Hoof does not seal the hoof wall, but is absorbed instantly. Duo Protection is made from horse fat and is therefore 100% natural. Horse fat contains, among other things, glycerine and vitamins A and D. Glycerine maintains a healthy balance of moisture. Vitamins A and D are good for the growth of skin, coat and stratum. This combination guarantees faster stratum growth and a sturdy structure of the hoof. Duo Protection Hoof can be used to restore bad hooves as well as for the maintenance of healthy hooves.

Suggested use
During the first 14 days, smear every day; the following 14 days, smear every other day; finally, continue to smear twice a week.
