Lucerne High Protein (20% protein) is developed for horses that perform heavy labour and/or where muscle mass/growth and recovery are desired. Our Lucerne High Protein is very special in its composition and not available anywhere else!
Lucerne stimulates chewing and therefore saliva production. Sufficient saliva production is necessary for healthy digestion.

Our Lucerne is dried in a controlled manner, for maximum preservation of nutrients.

PharmaHorse does not use any sugars or sweeteners and therefore stands apart from other suppliers. Our products also do not contain other fillers or flavourings.

Dosage:
The recommended dose of this product for a horse with a heavy training schedule is 100 - 360 grams per day per 100 kg of body weight.

Calm training days 100 - 200 grams per 100 kg body weight.
Heavy training days 300 - 360 grams per 100 kg body weight. 
At 360 grams per 100 kg of body weight, you are giving a 550 kg horse 396 grams of protein per day.

With a high protein intake, sufficient training/exercise is a must!
